The good folks at Teenarena Records told us they wanted to put out our third album, Handful of Fog, on vinyl, and we told them we wanted them to, so they will. We got our first reference lacquers last week, which you won’t get to hear because they self-destruct after a single listen or something like that. We don’t know when the album will come out just yet, but since it’s out of our hands now, probably before 2014.

in all honesty, it didn’t really “self destruct,” per se. it kind of just fizzled a little and then a small wisp of smoke rose up from the turntable. i was kinda hoping for something more dramatic. and why is metal feathers sooo afraid of a little distortion anyway? that’s what the people really wanna know.
also may i suggest changing your name to “the metal feathers band.” think of all the headaches the allman brothers and j. geils have avoided. nobody ever confuses “allman brothers hand lotion” with “the allman brothers band.”
why? because it says “band” right in their name. it’s a band, not a lotion. confusion averted.
